Privacy Policy
This privacy policy was enforced on the 16th of September 2009 for all new and existing accounts; this legislation has been put in place to protect account data and privacy. If you are concerned or have queries, please contact us via the forums.
 
Information Collected
1. Our webserver/web applications will only log the following information without user interaction for statistical information and incase of illegal use of our provided services:
-- IP address
-- Cookies created and used at FH
-- Browser user agent information
-- Browser variables
2. Your information will not be shared with third parties unless its the authorities in relation to an illegal activity done at or/and with our services.
3. User data will be kept after account deletion:
-- Old profile data etc may still exist in SQL/database backups
-- Statistical information that contains your IP address, browser variables and user agent information are kept for statistical purposes.

However, you can request your account deleted and all database backups are stored securely and kept for redundancy. For example, passwords are stored using our own encryption; therefore in the event of an exploit or leak, your password will be near useless.

4. Your statistical information will not be made available directly; this means that we will not release information to the public on what e.g. pages you have been on. However your information may be made publicly via a graph that displays either:
-- Number of hits
-- Hits from countries
-- Total hits
-- Other anonymous methods without revealing e.g. ip.

However statistics may be generated for your user based on e.g. the number of posts you have created on our forums.

   
Contacting
1. We may contact you via e-mail or via our services in the event of:
-- Important updates to the user system

However if you do receive unwanted e-mails e.g. a newsletter, you can disable this from your account settings at AMS (if you require help, contact us via our forums).
   
Freedom of Speech
1. At FortexHotel, we encourage free speech. Therefore you are free to express your opinion without any implications such as a ban unless its ignorant hatred or bullying.
2. If a countries authorities requests information taken down because it's e.g. against their country, we will hesitate - remaining its not breaking British law.
3. Information/data classed as trolling may be removed; even though we express freedom of speech, we do not encourage such negative behaviour at our community - this is because our aim is to have a friendly community.
